Terms

Last updated 17 August 2026

These terms cover this website and its waitlist. Using the Tulpar app itself means holding an account, and the app states at signup how your data is handled and what the operator can and cannot see.

Short version: the site is information, the app is early software that can change or break, and the model bill is yours because the key is yours.

Your own model key

Tulpar runs on a key you bring from a model provider — Anthropic or OpenRouter today. That key stays yours: it is encrypted in your browser before it reaches us, we do not resell access, and everything you spend is billed to you by that provider under their agreement, not ours. Tulpar itself costs nothing while it is early, and we will say so plainly here before that ever changes.

The waitlist

The waitlist is for people who want a hosted option instead of their own key. Joining it is not a purchase and not a promise of access. Give an address you actually control, and only your own.

The beta

Tulpar is early software offered as it is. Features can change, move, or be withdrawn; a release can be interrupted for maintenance; data created during the beta may not survive a rebuild. Do not use the beta for work you cannot afford to lose, and keep your own copy of anything that matters.

Tulpar drives an AI coding assistant that writes and runs code on your behalf. Its output is yours to check. Read a change before you ship it, exactly as you would read a change from anyone else.

Acceptable use

What belongs to whom

The Tulpar name, the site's text, and its design are ours. The code you write with the tool is yours; we claim no ownership of your projects and no licence to them beyond what is needed to run the service for you.

Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC, used here only to say honestly what the product works with. Tulpar is independent and not endorsed by Anthropic.

No warranty, and limited liability

The site and the beta are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost data, lost time — arising from the site or the beta. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top says when they last moved, and a material change to the beta's terms will be told to the people in it rather than quietly edited in.
